BRIEF HISTORY AND MISSION OF ICNC

ICNC was established by Imam Syed in Nov 1998 to bring Muslims and Non Muslims close to Allah thru the teachings of Quran and Sunna. ICNC is a non profit 501 c (3) charitable organization and is run by volunteers. Come be part of those who call people to Allah and establish what is just and right and forbid what is unjust and wrong in our society.

For the past 11 years the Family of Imam Syed has devoted most of their spare time in inviting people to Islam. With help from many volunteers ICNC was able to educate, nurture and help all those who came to work for Allah.

bismillah

“I bear witness there is no God but Allah and I bear witness that Prophet Mohammad is the Servant and Messenger of Allah”

This is the basic belief of Islam. After you have understood its meaning your journey of Practicing Islam begins and ends with your death. You will be tested in your faith and in your dealings with People. If you understand these Tests you will be able to pass them. A Good Muslim learns the Divine knowledge necessary to pass these difficult Tests of Allah under the guidance of an Imam or Righteous Teacher. Islam means surrender to Allah out of deep Love, Understanding, Taqwa and Respect of The Creator. We love all Prophets of Allah, and Respect their Teachings. Islam is the Final Divine Religion.

In order to understand Islam a Believer must understand Life of Prophet Mohammad mpbwh. In order to understand Life of Prophet Mohammad one must understand that Prophet Mohammad came to cleanse the wrong ideas and wrong concepts that previous Human generations have wrongly attributed to Allah. His whole Life after the revelation began, was spent in Teaching and Guiding Mankind to Surrender to the Will of Allah. His companions Loved him and followed his Teachings out of Love and obedience to Allah. By the permission of Allah swt, He was able to help people understand Life and its Meaning and was able to show them how to live a God Centered Life thru which peace and contentment can be achieved. Prophet Mohammad was a simple man and taught compassion and mercy towards all Mankind. He forgave his enemies and forgave people who turned against him because of Ignorance. He was sent as a Mercy to Mankind.

Looking at the Kaaba with 2 + million Muslims making sajda , surrendering and prostrating before Allah is an awe inspiring sight. One feels close to Allah very close.
The city of Mecca and a first look at Kaaba....the first house of worship built by Prophet Ibraheem and his son Ismaeel a.s. over 4000 years ago.

How Muslims Celebrate EID ul ADHA … done with simplicity no extravagance ,just humility before Allah.
Eid ul Adha is celebrated each year by over 1 billion Muslims to commemorate the conclusion of Hajj and to make a commitment to Allah that We will live our life according to the Will of Allah and be ready to sacrifice everything for the sake of Allah, if Allah asks us to do so, just like Prophet Ibraheem did. The slaughtering of an animal in the name of God is done to re enact the Ibraheem a.s action. Allah does not need the animal or its meat. The meat is then distributed to the poor and needy and relatives and one third is kept for one own family for consumption. Muslims start the day by going to congregational prayers at a Large gathering place. They pray together, asking for forgiveness, Mercy and Peace on Earth. After the Prayers are concluded a sermon is given to remind Muslims the need to sacrifice time, money, resources, family, children and anything that stands between Man and God to please Allah. Muslims wish each other Eid Mubarik and then proceed to sacrifice an animal at a slaughter house or farm. Much of the day is spent in taking care of this responsibility. Afterwards friends, relatives visit each other for the sake of Allah and exchange gifts (not mandatory) and good wishes, eat food and relax. Muslims call their family members and extend Eid greetings to the entire family. Everybody is happy and children are given gifts by Parents and or money to buy gifts with. Many Muslim families take the day off and some go back to work, if they need to.
Let us remember to celebrate Eid ul Adha following Prophet Ibraheems way of life and let us not waste any food or drink and eat and drink with moderation. In most Muslim countries a three day Holiday is observed and these three days are used to catch up with family, friends and realtives and a general happy environment is observed by all. Muslims forgive each other and learn to live with tolerance and patience.
Prophet Mohammad mpbwh has advised us about Eid and Hajj days in the following way:
First ten days of Dhul-Hijjah are blessed days. Fast the first nine days if you can or fast on the ninth day of Zil Hajj or Sunday Dec 7th.

Just like the last ten nights of Ramadan are the best ten nights out of the whole year, the Ulama tell us that out of the 365 days of the year, these first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah are the best days of the year and the most beloved to Allah as they combine acts of worship in a way unlike any other times.

1.The Prophet testified to that. He said: "There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days." The people asked, "Not even jihad for the sake of Allah?" He said, "Not even jihad for the sake of Allah, except in the case of a man who went out to fight giving himself and his wealth up for the cause, and came back with nothing." (Bukhari)

2.The Prophet used to fast on the ninth day of Dhu'l-Hijjah and he said: "Fasting the Day of 'Arafah (ninth Dhul-hijjah) is an expiation for (all the sins of) the previous year and an expiation for (all the sins of) the coming year." (Muslim)

3.The Prophet said: "There are no days on which good deeds are greater or more beloved to Allaah than on these ten days, so recite much Tahleel (saying Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah), Takbeer (saying Allaahu akbar) and Tahmeed (saying al-hamdu Lillaah)." (Ahmad -Saheeh)

4. Get the reward of Hajj wherever you are:
You may be unable to do Hajj this year, and you may feel sad because you are deprived of the great reward of Hajj. But you can achieve a similar reward in whatever place you may be.
The Prophet said: "Whoever prays Fajr Prayer in congregation, and then sits and remembers Allah until the sun rises, then (after a while) prays two rak'as, he will gain a reward equal to that of making perfect Hajj and Umrah." [He repeated the word "perfect" thrice.] (At-Tirmidhi)

5.Slaughter an animal and distribute the meat
Ibn Umar said: The Prophet lived in Madeenah for 10 years and every year he slaughtered an animal." (Ahmad-Saheeh by al-Albaani)

6. Attend Eid prayers
Remember that Eid prayer is an important event for the whole family. Take the day off. Take your family to Eid Prayers and meet and greet other Muslims with a happy face and remove Ghil from your heart.

7. Thank Allah
One of the way to connect with Allah is to thank Him, deeply, sincerely and continuously. After all, it is He who gave you every single thing that is in you, on you or around you. In fact, you wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for the Mercy of your Creator. So thank Him for ALL that He gave you, the Islam that He gave you, the very life He gave you. And thank Him for the chance that He gives you in these ten days, to ask for forgiveness and guidance.
"And worship your Lord until there comes unto you the certainty (death)." [al-Hijr 15:99]

ICNC wishes all Muslims and all Non Mulsim Neighbors in Poway and San Diego County a very happy Eid.

May Peace be with You.
Imam Syed.

During 2002- 2004, Imam Syed presented Islam to Palomar Community College World Religion class. Prophet Moses and Prophet Jesus were Muslims so was Prophet Noah and Ibraheem. Their message was the same, " Their is only ONE God, Worship Him and I am a Messenger or Prophet of God, Follow Me"

Muslims believe that Prophet Mohammad mpbwh was sent with the last divine 100% accurate, protected word of God called Quran. Muslims are to respect and believe in the previous books of God as long as their teaching is consistent with the Message and Truth contained in the Quran. Muslims believe God has sent Messengers to correct the incorrect beliefs practiced by people and their will be no new divinely ordained religion after Islam. All religions contain some wisdom, but Islam is the most balanced, moderate and chosen religion by God for mankind. Islam is the Final Way of Life for all the people of the world and is a Mercy and to Mankind. We believe Quran is a Miracle and contains only divine knowledge. It was not written by Prophet Mohammad, It was revealed to Him thru Angel Gibraeel over a period of 23 years step by step, to take mankind out of the depth of darkness into the Light of Allah's divine Knowledge.

We invite you to Learn about Islam and meet Muslims each Friday in Poway at Friday Prayers.

We Begin In the name of Allah Most Gracious, Most Merciful

O’ Mankind Have (Taqwa ) God Consciousness and  Follow Me……….is the Message of All Prophets of Islam

ADAM, NOAH, IBRAHEEM, MOSES, JESUS, MOHAMMAD (May Peace be upon them All) were all Prophets of Islam.

Quran mentions the names of 25 Prophets of Allah, which are also names discussed in the Bible.

We are taught that Allah swt has sent over 124,000 Prophets to Mankind for its Guidance and the Last Accurate, complete and

Un changeable Divine Guidance is contained in the Quran.

Understanding Islam and Following Islam is a Life Long Process…….

It begins when you decide to Surrender to Allah and ask for Guidance……..

It is achieved daily by Constant Vigilance and Self Purification thru Remembrance Of Allah swt and implementing the Sunna of Rasool Allah.

It needs to be protected and refreshed daily… from the effects of Shaitan, Dunya, Nafse and Hawa.

We invite you to join us each day and each Friday to Learn the Right Concepts of Islam, Imaan and Ihsan.

O’ Mankind Your Lord is One, He begets not Nor is He Begotten.

Surrender to Him to achieve internal Balance of  Rooh and Nafse.

Say “ La Ila Ha Illal Lah ” There is NO God Except One God

Say Qul ho wallah Ho Ahad. Say that Allah is ONE

Say that Prophet Mohammad is the Servant and Last Messenger of Allah.

And you have entered thru the gate of Islam…… Now you are a Muslim! But Deep Belief requires Practice….

So Now you must Learn the Divine Knowledge that will bring you closer to Allah and Prophet Mohammad (s.a.w)

This is contained in Quran and explained by Prophet Mohammad and his Followers……

See if you are following the following Calendar in your Personal Life. Then if you need help, come to ICNC, we will help you in creating your own Schedule of  Islamic Activities at your own pace.

Your daily Calendar Must include the 5 daily Prayers offered at the following times

Now our challenge is to keep in touch and educate these new Muslims

ICNC offers bi monthly classes at Imam Syed's home to teach, guide and help these and other Muslims and Non Muslims to gain closeness with Allah. Come join us.

Call 858-513-2733 and be a part of those who invite people to Islam.

Classes are free and are designed to teach people Concepts of Islam. Right concepts lead to right thinking, right thinking leads to right feelings and right feelings lead to right inspirations and right inspirations lead to right motivation to do good and the right motivation to do good is needed before Allah swt gives permission to do good. This is called the process of Taufeeq.

Those who do not work for Allah with the right intention are not granted this Taufeeq and this is called Salbe Taufeeq or cessation of permission by Allah to do good.

Come learn how to get Taufeeq from Allah swt

Come learn how to Pray as Prophet Mohammad taught us

Come learn how to live like a Muslim as Islam expects from us

Come lets learn Quran and Teach Quran per the recommendation of Rasool Allah

Come for your success and come for your Falah thru the teachings of Quran and Sunna

Prayer of the Prophet Mohammad for difficult decisions in Life

A Message From the Final Prophet Mohammad (may peace be with him )of Islam to those who Believe

Aaozo Billahe Min - ush shaitan Nirrajeem, BisMillah Hir RahMaan Nir Raheem

IMPORTANCE

The Translation of Duae Istikhara of Prophet Mohammad (mpbwh)….He used this dua so often that we thought this would be made a compulsory dua…..  ( The Sahaba)

HOW TO PERFORM ?

Dear Believer, Read it slowly, understand it, and think about it, Then offer two rakah Nafil prayer and then make this dua from the bottom of your heart so that it permeates your Nafse and reaches your Rooh.

WHAT IS THE SPIRIT AND MEANING OF THIS DUA ?

O Allah, I ask you from the basis of your Knowledge the Good ( Khair). Because

You are the All Mighty, I ask you a difficult question from your Great Blessings (Fazl) Because, You have All The Power ( Qudrah) and I do not have any power (compared to yours), Because  You have All the Knowledge (Ilm) and I do not have any knowledge (compared to yours) And Because You have All the Knowledge of All the Unseen  and the Unknown. ( Ghaib )

O Allah, If  this decision, action, planning that I am about to undertake

Has Good in it and

is better for my Deen ( Way of Life) and

is better for my Worldly Provisions and

is better in its Culmination and Completion, THEN,

Make it Blessed for me and

Ordain it for me and

Make it easy for me

But, if this decision, action or planning (thought process) that I am about to undertake

is Bad for me and

is Bad for my Deen and

is Bad for my Worldly Provisions and

is Bad from its end result perspective, THEN,

Keep ,me away from it and

Keep me away from its end result and

Protect me from it and

Prevent me from taking that decision or planning. And

Please Provide Khair (Goodness and Kindness) wherever it is and

Finally Please make me understand this decision and

Make me Content with it and

Make me able to accept it…………Ameen.

Then, Dear Believer, Wait and let Allah swt tell you( by his signs) what You should do.

If You want to learn the signs of Allah……then Read, Listen and absorb the Quran frequently from your Rooh and store it in Your Qalb (Heart of Rooh.)

Brother Syed has translated this dua with best intentions and accuracy. May Allah accept it and correct it if there are any deficiencies or defects in its translations. E mail any corrections at bms123@hotmail.com

April 14, 2007 .  28 Rabiul Awwal 1427 Hijra

Prophet Mohammad was not a Sunni or Shia he was a Muslim. Muslims follow various fiqhs ( School of understanding). We respect all of the right School of Thoughts that fall within the Sharia and broad guidelines of Quran. we follow all rightfully guided Imams and Teachers as long as their teaching does not contradict the main teachings of Islam.
